Renaissance Altarpiece

About the project

A monumental classical altarpiece inspired by the Altarpiece of the Basilica of El Escorial in Madrid, executed in Verde India and Rosa Valencia marble. This masterpiece is composed of fluted columns with entasis and Doric, Ionic, Corinthian and composite capitals, along with other richly ornamental decorative elements.

The project represents exceptional stonemasonry and sculptural work in natural stone, where each element was carefully carved following Renaissance Spanish proportions and techniques. The combination of green and pink marbles creates a chromatic contrast that enhances the piece's monumentality.
