We capture every detail of sculptures and artistic elements for analysis, restoration, or reproduction.
The scanning process requires the best devices on the market. Camar has a precision of ± 0.2 mm, which guarantees the maximum fidelity of the scanned model.
The model to be scanned can be an artwork, an existing architectural element, or even a new model created by a sculptor or craftsman.
The requirements for this model should preferably be opaque materials, which are not translucent and do not allow reflections. Even so, polychrome surfaces can be scanned.
Once the necessary point cloud is obtained, our team of experts will proceed with its treatment and materialization in the final piece.
Technology provides us with a great opportunity in the world of carving, high or low relief, and sculpture.
Achieving the rapid, precise, and effective materialization of any existing model anywhere in the world, converting it to a digital format in three dimensions, is something Camar has been doing with its own devices since 1999.
Our technical team coordinates with the management and/or site managers to define the areas to be scanned, deadlines, and access conditions.
01
We travel anywhere in the world with our laser measurement equipment. Scanning is carried out with minimal interference on-site and within tight deadlines.
02
Once the information is captured, the point cloud is processed in our facilities, removing noise and generating a precise and workable 3D model.
03
From the 3D model, our engineering team develops the final technical plans that will guide the manufacturing of each marble piece.
04
The plans are validated with the client, and once approved, we begin cutting and carving the marble with the certainty that each piece will fit perfectly.
