Nazaries Hotel

About the project

Located in the modern area of the city of Granada, the Nazaries Hotel is a colossal natural stone building with views over the Alhambra; it is the result of avant-garde decoration and neo-Nasrid design for which we have supplied marbles and granites for bathrooms, cafeteria and other common areas.

The project constitutes a contemporary tribute to Granada's Islamic tradition. The neo-Nasrid design manifests in the geometry of the cladding, in the combination of light and dark stones that evoke the courtyards of the Alhambra, and in the integration of decorative elements inspired by muqarnas and lacework. Natural stone becomes a vehicle for cultural expression.

The privileged location facing the Nasrid monument conditioned all aesthetic decisions. The selected materials dialogue with the historic architecture without imitating it: Spanish marbles in warm tones, granites with textures reminiscent of Andalusian stone, and finishes that play with Mediterranean light just as the Alhambra has done since the 13th century.

Neo-Nasrid Design

Contemporary reinterpretation of Granada's Islamic aesthetics. Marble cladding incorporates geometries inspired by the Alhambra courtyards, combining light and dark tones in patterns that evoke traditional Nasrid designs without falling into literal copying.

Monumental Building

Large-scale construction entirely clad in natural stone. The facade combines Spanish limestone with granite ornamental details, while the interiors use marbles selected for their chromatic warmth and wear resistance in high-traffic areas.

Views of the Alhambra

Strategic location in the modern area of Granada with direct views of the Nasrid monumental complex. This privileged position inspired the hotel's aesthetic program, where each stone material was chosen to dialogue with the historic architecture visible from the windows.
