Project Details

Private residence in Marbella executed in Piedra Paloma. We highlight the execution of 22 columns up to 8 meters high with the characteristic that the shafts are executed in a single piece of almost 6 meters.

Detail of execution of 22 column shafts in a single piece of 6 meters. The capable solid before turning the shaft weighed 9 tons and once turned and grooved with its corresponding entasis its weight was finally 5 tons.

Of the 22 columns, 14 of them were made in Corinthian decoration with acanthus leaf capitals of 1.1 x 1.1 meters and the remaining 8 with Ionic style capitals.

The entire facade has been decorated following a Renaissance order both in columns and ceiling coffering with carved solid caissons and solid door and window frames.

Two of the ceilings have been made in the form of Curved Vault with curved and carved caissons along with decorative corbels highlighting its classic style.

The interiors of various materials and colors, all of the highest quality to match the exterior work, making use of the waterjet technique for panels, borders in vestibules and bathrooms.

Summary of Materials Used

  • 5,000 m² of cladding and flooring in 2 and 3 cm thickness
  • 200 m³ of solid material sculpted for columns, capitals, bases, cornices and other decorative elements
